Your work stays yours

SketchMap Atlas is an independent project: a world map of drawings, made by one person who loves to draw places.
I build products solo, in my spare time, after the day job. I've spent 15+ years in marketing and product and have worked on many well-known projects over the years (I just don't name them here), and honestly, making things is my favourite thing in the world.
I have a lot of “kids”, and I mean it: two humans, two cats, one meerkat and a little zoo of apps. SketchMap Atlas is one of them.
I love drawing. I'm an amateur and not a great one, but I do it with soul. One day I sat down and thought: hey, why isn't there an app like this yet? A map where every sketch lives at the real place it was drawn. So I made it.
This one and my other solo pet projects live on my page on Google Play.

A work can be hidden from the shared map, and then only you can see it. We do not sell your data.
The classics in the gallery are public-domain works from Wikimedia Commons, with the author, year and source on every one.
One person builds it step by step, so every feature is tested and explained before the next one arrives.
SketchMap Atlas was created by Milya, a solo developer with 15+ years of experience in marketing and product, who builds it in her spare time as a solo pet project.
Because the creator loves to draw places and could not find an app where every drawing belongs to a real place on a world map. So she made one.
From Wikimedia Commons. Only public-domain works are used: 200+ sketches by 59 artists, each shown where it was drawn.
On the creator’s own funds, plus optional Creator subscriptions and voluntary one-time support in the Android app. There are no third-party ads.
No. Your drawings are yours, hidden works are visible only to you, and personal data is not sold.
The first public version of the web app appeared in October 2026, and the Android app is on its way to Google Play.
